Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Russian President Vladimir Putin seems to have softened his stance on negotiations with Ukraine.

This was reported by Anadolu agency.

Such an impression of a possible softening of the position of the Kremlin leader was formed after the last communication with Putin. Therefore, Erdogan does not lose hope for a dialogue between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

– In the coming days, based on the results of the telephone conversations [with Putin and Zelenskyy], we will understand how far we can advance. The day before, I spoke with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. I felt in his speech the absence of obstacles and readiness to solve this issue. We do not lose hope for peace – said Erdogan.

And the Turkish president believes that there will be no losing side in this war.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Erdogan proposed to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to extend the grain agreement, which made it possible to open Black Sea ports for the export of Ukrainian grain.
