The US will use all tools to prevent the supply of Iranian weapons to Russia
The United States of America will use all tools to expose, confront, and counter the supply of Iranian arms to Russia.
This was stated by the representative of the US State Department, Ned Price.
– We are concerned that Russia may also try to acquire modern conventional weapons from Iran, such as surface-to-surface missiles, which will certainly be used to support Russia’s war against Ukraine, – Price said.
According to him, the United States will “resolutely” apply all sanctions regarding arms trade with both Russia and Iran, “to make it more difficult for Iran to sell these weapons to the Russian Federation.”
Earlier, the CNN channel, with reference to high-ranking officials of Western countries, reported that Iran is preparing to transfer about 1,000 additional weapons to Russia. In particular, short-range surface-to-surface ballistic missiles and attack drones.
The exact time when the cargo will arrive in Russia is unknown, but it will definitely happen before the end of the year.
