There are no signs that this was a deliberate attack by the Russian Federation on Poland – Duda

The missile that fell on the territory of Poland was Russian-made, but now there is no confirmation that it was launched from the territory of the Russian Federation.
This was announced by Polish President Andrzej Duda during a joint press conference with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Wednesday, November 16.
He said there was no indication that it was a deliberate attack on Poland and added that “an accident happened.”
– There are no indications that it was a missile launched by Russia, but there are many indications that it was an anti-aircraft missile. There are many signs that the rocket did not explode, but simply fell to the ground – there may have been a fuel explosion, but not a classic rocket explosion, – the Polish president said.
According to him, there is a high probability that it was a missile used for anti-missile defense, that is, it was used by the Armed Forces.
Prime Minister Morawiecki added that the allies’ reaction to this incident shows that Warsaw can count on its allies, that “we are in a union that has worked.”
On November 15, during a massive Russian missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, two Russian missiles fell in Poland, as a result of which two people died.
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, reacting to the fall of a missile in Poland, said that this would not have happened if Russia had not fired missiles at Ukraine. Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz noted that the incident with the missile on the territory of Poland should be thoroughly investigated, but in any case, its root cause is the aggressive war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
