Russian Air Force redeploys long-range aircraft after explosions at airfields – Ignat

The Air Force of the Russian Federation redeployed and dispersed its long-range aviation after the explosions at the airfields on December 5.

This was stated by the spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat. According to him, the Russians concentrated their aviation at different airfields of the Russian Federation.

– They stretched their strategic long-range aviation where possible, where it can be serviced, where there are appropriate runways that they can use, – Ignat said.

On the morning of December 5, there were explosions at the military airfield in Engels, Saratov region.

It is known that a drone crashed on the runway, damaging two Tu-195 strategic bombers and injuring two people.
