Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has not given up on his plans to take control of Ukraine.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated this in an interview with Western media.

– There are no signs that President Putin has changed his overall goal of this war, which is to control Ukraine, – he emphasized.

The Secretary General of NATO warned that there is no question of the end of a full-scale war in our country yet. He drew attention to the fact that thousands of new soldiers are being mobilized in Russia. In addition, Moscow does not pay attention to the huge losses at the front.

– This is not the end yet. Wars are unpredictable, but we must prepare for a long journey, as well as for new Russian offensives. We should not underestimate Russia, – noted Stoltenberg.

He called on allies to provide the necessary military support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to “convince Putin that he will not achieve his goal of establishing control over Ukraine.”

Stoltenberg called military aid to Ukraine the fastest way to peace. He specified that most wars end at the negotiating table, and Kyiv should gain the strongest position.

– We know that what Ukraine can achieve in these negotiations inextricably depends on the military situation. So if you want to find a peaceful, negotiated solution that will ensure that Ukraine wins as an independent democratic state, the best way to achieve that is to provide Ukraine with military support, – he explained.

Jens Stoltenberg recently stated that the Kremlin does not want peace, but a pause to regroup and prepare its troops for a new offensive against Ukraine.
