For work on cruise missiles and aircraft: the US will provide Ukraine with Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missiles

The US intends to transfer to Ukraine for the first time Sea Sparrow radar-guided anti-aircraft missiles, which can be launched from sea or land to intercept aircraft or cruise missiles.
This was reported by Politico.
According to two sources, the Ukrainian military managed to adapt its Soviet Buk installations to fire Sea Sparrow missiles.
So far, Taiwan has been the only country to use the land-based missile version, while the US Navy and many allies use a ship-mounted version.
RIM-7 Sea Sparrow missiles
It is an American shipboard short-range anti-aircraft and anti-missile weapon system, designed primarily for anti-ship missile defense. The system was developed in the early 1960s based on the AIM-7 Sparrow air-to-air missile.
The Sea Sparrow missile is equipped with a radar homing head.
The rocket weighs 230 kg. The maximum firing range is 20-30 km. The height of the lesion is from 6 m to 15 km. In addition, the missile is capable of flying at a speed of Mach 3.5 (4.3 thousand km/h). The cost of one missile is about $165,000.
It was previously reported that Germany may transfer 20 to 40 Marder BMPs to Ukraine, and the United States plans to transfer military aid, which will include 50 Bradley fighting vehicles.
France said it would send its AMX-10 RC armored fighting vehicles, a highly mobile wheeled system built around the powerful 105mm GIAT gun.
