More Stinger SAMs and drones: the Ministry of Defense of Latvia explained what they are ready to give Ukraine

Latvia is ready to offer Ukraine a new batch of Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems at the next meeting in the Ramstein format, as well as to continue supplying drones.
This was stated by the head of the Latvian Defense Ministry Inara Murniece, speaking about the future military assistance to Kyiv.
– The list of Latvia’s military support is already in our pocket. “In fact, the Ukrainian front is our line of defense, so we are now thinking how to join the large flow of assistance to Ukraine and support it, how to respond to the request of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy,” she stressed.
According to her, Latvia is considering the possibility of sending weapons and training Ukrainian soldiers.
Murniece also believes that Latvia should think more seriously about strengthening its own air defense system.
The eighth meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format will take place on January 20.
