The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, stated that German speakers live to the west of Hungary, and Russians live to the east.

The head of the Hungarian government made a new scandalous statement during the festive dinner in honor of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

– You don’t need to be a nuclear physicist to see it right away: Azerbaijan borders Iran to the south and Russia to the north.

German speakers live to the west of Hungary, and Russians live to the east. So we know the situation and understand how difficult it is to manage the nation’s life well under such circumstances, – Orban said.

Speaking about German speakers, the head of the Hungarian government obviously meant Austria, and Viktor Orbán decided not to mention Ukraine at all.

It is worth noting that only a few days have passed since Viktor Orban’s last scandalous statement.

Only on January 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine summoned the ambassador of Hungary “for a frank conversation” after Viktor Orbán declared that “Ukraine, like Afghanistan, is a ‘no man’s land.’

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Nikolenko, noted at the time that Viktor Orban’s next disparaging statement against Ukraine was categorically unacceptable.

According to Oleg Nikolenko, Budapest is continuing the course of deliberate destruction of Hungarian-Ukrainian relations, significantly undermining the possibility of further dialogue between the two neighboring countries.
