On the ninth day after a series of powerful earthquakes in Turkey, Ukrainian rescuers helped to find and free from the rubble a woman who survived the destruction of a residential building.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service with reference to the team that went to Turkey with a rescue mission.

– The first life saved in Turkey by our team! It happened in sector R in the city of Antakya, where a group of the Combined Squad of the State Emergency Service was performing a search and rescue mission in one of the most difficult directions, – said the head of the State Emergency Service Serhiy Kruk.

He thanked the rescuers for their dedication and work. However, he did not give details of the condition of the rescued woman.

Recently, Turkey was rocked by a series of powerful earthquakes, as a result of which many residential buildings and office premises were significantly destroyed. At the same time, in the city of Nurdagi, buildings will be completely demolished and houses will be rebuilt.
