An earthquake occurred again on the border of Turkey and Syria, there are victims

In the evening of February 20, two earthquakes occurred on the border of Turkey and Syria.
According to Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu, 3 people died and 213 people were hospitalized with injuries.
The epicenter of the 6.4-magnitude earthquake was the Defne district of the city of Hatay. The tremors were also felt in nearby cities.
A few minutes later, another 5.8-magnitude earthquake hit Hatay with its epicenter in the Samandag district.
– The earth slipped from under our feet. We were in a tent city. We were incredibly shaken. The children were very scared. This place is now in smoke. Buildings were probably destroyed, – CNN Turk correspondent Buse Deviren described the earthquake.
The first earthquake was recorded at a depth of 16.7 kilometers, and the second – at a depth of 7 kilometers.
Yesterday it became known that the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey, which occurred on February 6, exceeded 40,000 people.
Another earthquake occurred in the Turkish province of Kahramanmaras on Saturday, February 18.
According to the Office for the Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, the epicenter of the 5.1-magnitude earthquake was located at a depth of 12 km near the city of Gyeongsang. No damage or injuries were reported.
