The head of German intelligence: Russia can mobilize another 1 million people

The Kremlin can gather up to 1 million more people throughout Russia to go to war against Ukraine. The head of the Federal Intelligence Service of Germany (BND) Bruno Kahl assessed the mobilization potential of the Russian Federation in an interview with the publication of the media group Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland.
– Russia’s further mobilization potential is a reserve of up to a million people, if the Kremlin deems it necessary, – he said.
In his opinion, now the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is not ready for negotiations and will try to realize all possibilities on the battlefield at any cost, in particular at the expense of the mobilized.
At the same time, as the head of the BND noted, the armed forces continue to defend themselves effectively, despite the numerical superiority of the Russian army. But in the long term, Ukraine’s success will largely depend on the unwavering support of the West.
Earlier, the Ukrainian military intelligence reported that the Russian Federation was preparing for another wave of mobilization, and this time they wanted to take students of higher education institutions studying at the hospital to the war against Ukraine.
