No one wants to take responsibility: Yusov on the causes of the conflict between Shoigu and Prigozhin

Конфлікт Шойгу та Пригожина – розвідка назвала причину

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine commented on the conflict between the leaders of the occupiers.

According to the DIU representative Andriy Yusov, such an atmosphere in the aggressor state indicates its inevitable defeat.

– “Public conflicts between the owner of the so-called Wagner PMC Prigozhin, the aggressor state’s Defence Minister Shoigu and the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Army Gerasimov show their fear of responsibility for the inevitable geopolitical defeat of Muscovy,” he said on the air of the United News telethon.

He added that the odious leaders of the Russian occupation forces are now under stress and confusion, caused by the uncertainty of their future after the ouster of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Russia’s final defeat in the war.

Watching now

Yusov believes that none of the three wants to take responsibility for anything.

– That is why they have started looking for someone to blame. Right now, Shoigu, Gerasimov and Prigozhin are determining among themselves who will be guilty,” he concluded.

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) believes that Prigozhin could have stopped blackmailing the Russian Ministry of Defence after the ministry received counter-threats. That is why he changed his mind about withdrawing his militants from Bakhmut, Donetsk region, on 10 May.

Analysts believe that in response to his threats to withdraw unless he was provided with ammunition, the Russian Defence Ministry threatened him with treason.
