Regardless of the decision of the EU. Poland has declared that it will not resume imports of Ukrainian grain

Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki said that his country decided not to resume imports of Ukrainian grain.
He wrote about this on the X network (Twitter), sharing a pre-election video of the ruling Law and Justice party.
According to Morawiecki, when the war began, Poland opened “its hearts and homes, but the government will not allow the interests of Polish farmers to be harmed.”
– Poland will not allow itself to be flooded with Ukrainian grain. Regardless of what the decision of Brussels officials will be, we will not open our borders, – the Polish Prime Minister stressed.
Since May 2, the EU ban on the import of grain from Ukraine to five countries: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria has been in effect.
According to the European Union document, four types of grain (wheat, corn, rapeseed and sunflower) can be supplied to other EU countries, and they can transit through five border countries. The current EU ban ends on September 15. Negotiations on the extension of the embargo are ongoing in the European Union.
