Historic meeting: Kuleba told the details of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union historic. He claims that important decisions await Ukraine in the near future.
“It was a historic, not to say epic, meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU,” – Kuleba wrote on Instagram .
According to him, the last time such a frank conversation in this format took place in the first days of the full-scale invasion against Ukraine, when they discussed the disconnection of Russian banks from the SWIFT international interbank system.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is convinced that at the end of the week important decisions will be made at the summit of the European Council. Kuleba noted that he discussed the results of the meeting with the EU representative for foreign affairs and security policy Josep Borrell.
The head of EU diplomacy informed the minister that the European Commission will soon present a draft decision on the use of revenues from frozen Russian assets for the needs of Ukraine.
