According to him, Norway will take part in the international initiative to provide Ukraine with additional air defense equipment, and believes that this should be done immediately.

– We have very little time to delay, so Norway will contribute to the financing. There are several other countries that contribute to this, because they have anti-aircraft defenses that can reach Ukraine quite quickly, and they have been intensively working on this in the last few days and weeks, – Støre emphasized.

He noted that in order to make an effective contribution, Norway will review the budget of the Nansen program, which provides military and civilian support to Ukraine in the amount of NOK 75 billion over five years.

– We will return to this when we present the revised budget. It is expensive, but maintaining peace and freedom costs money. Ukraine and Ukrainians pay the most, – added the Prime Minister of Norway.
