A commandant’s office was created in Kyiv: who became its head

A commandant’s office was created in Kyiv. The corresponding order was signed on March 30 by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Major General Mykola Zhernov.
Major General Viktor Plakhtiy, head of the Central Directorate of the Military Law Enforcement Service in Kyiv and the region, has been appointed commandant of the capital.
In total, it includes seven people: the commandant, his deputy, legal adviser, coordinator for the movement of military vehicles, coordinator for control over the introduction of curfew, the establishment of a special regime of light masking and checkpoints, coordinator for law enforcement cooperation and coordinator for quartering and interaction with local government life support services.
According to the regulations on the Kyiv commandant’s office, it will organize and ensure measures during the curfew and the establishment of the light masking regime, coordination of actions of the executive branch, the military and law enforcement agencies.
Territorially, the commandant’s office is located on Peremohy Avenue.
