Explosions in Odesa: What the RMA says

On the morning of May 1, there was information about explosions in Odesa.
Information about this was spread by several Telegram channels at about 09.40.
According to the spokesman of the operational headquarters of the Odessa regional military administration Serhiy Bratchuk, the sound heard by locals on Sunday morning is evidence of the work of the air defense system.
– According to preliminary information, it is an air defense system working.
Now all the details have been clarified. Full and official information will be communicated to the population later, a spokesman for the operational headquarters said on the national marathon.
Subsequently, the Operational Command South noted that the air defense forces shot down an enemy reconnaissance drone in the sky over Odesa.
– By hitting our air defense, the drone was sent at a known rate irrevocably, – added in the operational command.
We will remind that only yesterday there was information on receipt of new weapon for forces of air defense of Odesa.
The night before, the Russian military launched a missile attack on the Odesa airport, destroying the runway.
Its further use is impossible.
Currently, Odesa is preparing for the curfew, which will last from 22.00 on May 1 to 05.00 on May 3.
During this period it is forbidden to be on the streets and in other public places without special permits and certificates.
In the curfew, commuter and long-distance trains running to and from Odesa will be temporarily canceled.
The Odesa-Holovna railway station will also be closed.
A long curfew was imposed to prevent provocations on the anniversary of the tragic events of May 2.
On April 30, law enforcement officers found the weapon and prohibited symbols that the attackers planned to use on May 2.
