On July 5, the Russian army is making every effort to establish control over the territory of the Luhansk region within the administrative borders.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is currently trying to restore the transport infrastructure in the rear areas.
During the day, the Russians shelled the areas of Bilogorivka and Verkhnokamyansk in the Kramatorsk direction with barrel artillery and launched a missile and air strike near Sloviansk and Zvanivka.
Fighting continues in the direction of Novoluhanskyi on Bakhmut, in the direction where the enemy is storming.
Areas of Kodem, Novoluhanske, Pokrovske, Berestov, Spirne, and Ivano-Daryivka settlements were under the fire of barrel artillery during July 4.
The Russian military launched air and missile strikes near Soledar, Spirny, Pokrovsky and Shumy.
In the direction of Spirny, in particular, with the support of artillery and aviation, the aggressor managed to resume assault operations.
Currently, the occupiers have partial success there, but fighting continues.
