A railway bridge was partially destroyed in the temporarily occupied Melitopol.
The adviser to the head of the President’s Office, Oleksiy Arestovіch, announced this on his Telegram channel.
– Yesterday, in the Melitopol area, our partisans blew up a railway bridge. The bridge is partially destroyed, – he wrote.
According to him, not a single echelon from Dzhankoy, which is in the annexed Crimea, has been able to come to the occupied Melitopol within a day.
– So far, it is difficult to say exactly when the Russians will be able to restore the bridge and traffic on it, but they will be mad. Something has not grown in them in a big way, – wrote the adviser of the head of the OPU.
He added that this was facilitated by the strikes of American HIMARS multiple rocket systems and the work of Ukrainian partisans in the captured territories.
Later, the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, confirmed that the railway bridge was damaged.
– Minus one railway bridge in the southwest direction from Melitopol equals the complete absence of Russian echelons from the Crimean side. The resistance forces helped the bridge to “get tired” so much that the occupiers are unable to restore it for the second day, – he wrote.
According to the mayor of Melitopol, since yesterday mass filtering operations have been carried out in the city and nearby settlements, but no partisans have been found.
