Kyiv is on the list: Podolyak predicts shelling of Ukrainian cities on Independence Day
Russia will try to increase the number of cruise missile attacks on a number of Ukrainian cities on August 23 and on the Independence Day of Ukraine, August 24. Kyiv will certainly be on this list.
This was announced by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Pododyak, during the broadcast of the telethon to Vadym Karpiak, the presenter on ICTV.
– You remember these “powerful” speeches of the Russians that in three days they will march along Khreshchatyk in Kyiv and show why the “Russian peace” is much stronger than Ukraine. But during half a year of the war, the “Russian peace” proved that the Russian Federation absolutely lost by all standards of civilization to Ukraine.
Therefore, the Russians will want to receive compensation for these six months, for the fact that they were humiliated, for the hot season in the Crimea and for the resilience demonstrated by Ukraine, – he explained.
Mykhailo Podolyak called on Ukrainians to pay attention to air alarms, protect themselves and, if necessary, take shelter.
