From August 22 to 25, the Russian Federation will block the airspace of three regions north of Ukraine – General Staff
The Russian Federation plans to close certain sections of the airspace in three regions of the Russian Federation for the period from August 22 to 25.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the summary for the evening of August 21.
In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the situation remained without significant changes.
In the Sіversky direction, the enemy rotates separate units in the border areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
The enemy shelled the areas of Muravyi and Zaliznyi Myst settlements of Chernihiv region and Budka and Iskryskivshchyna of Sumy region with barrel artillery.
The General Staff reported that according to available information, the enemy is closing certain areas of the airspace in the Lipetsk, Voronezh, and Bilhorod regions in the period from August 22 to 25 of this year.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Prudyanka, Nove, Rusky Tyshki, Peremoha, Stary Saltiv, Korobochkine, Slobozhanske and Velyki Prohody with tanks, barrel and jet artillery. He carried out airstrikes near Stary Saltov and Husarivka.
Artillery shelling was recorded near Krasnopill, Chervonoy and Dolyna in the Slavyansk direction. The enemy replenishes ammunition stocks.
– Conducted combat reconnaissance in the direction of Petropillia – Dmytrivka, Pasika – Bogorodichnye, had no success, left. Tried to conduct assault and offensive operations in the directions of Brazhkivka – Nova Dmytrivka, Dovgenka – Dolyna, Sulygivka – Dibrivne and Petropillia – Karnaukhivka, suffered losses and retreated, – the military said.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy continued shelling in the vicinity of Mykolayivka, Siversk, Spirnyi and Ivano-Daryivka.
On the Bakhmut direction, he used artillery of various calibers near Bakhmut, Yakovlivka, Veselaya Dolyna and Kodem, and aviation – near Zaytsevo, Bakhmut and Soledar.
– The enemy waged offensive battles in the directions Pokrovske – Bakhmutske, Semihirya – Zaitseve, Novoselivka – New York. He received a strong rebuff and retreated, – the report says.
In the Avdiivsk direction, the enemy used barrel and rocket artillery to shell the areas of Avdiivka, Maryinka and Pisky settlements.
The General Staff reported that the enemy carried out airstrikes near Maryinka, Vodyanyi and Krasnohorivka, and also unsuccessfully carried out combat reconnaissance in the direction of Spartak – Opytne, and retreated.
– With offensive and assault actions, he tried to improve the tactical position in the directions of Novoselivka Druga – Krasnohorivka, Vesele – Pisky, Oleksandrivka – Maryinka. He retreated with losses, – the military said.
Enemy units have partial success in the Lozivskyi – Pisky direction.
In the direction of Novopavlivka, the enemy shelled territories in the areas of Pavlivka, Velika Novosilka, Prechistivka, and Vugledar. Used aviation for a strike near Novomykhailivka. He made an unsuccessful offensive attempt in the direction of Luhansk – Pobieda.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, shelling from barrel and rocket artillery was recorded near Gulyaipolе, Orikhov, Burlatsky and Novopolе. The areas of the settlements of Gulyaipole, Chervone and Novosilka were hit by airstrikes.
In the Southern Buzkу direction, the enemy used available means of fire damage to attack military and civilian objects along the contact line. He carried out airstrikes near Olhyny, Novogrihorivka, Tavriysky and Lozovy.
– With offensive actions, he tried to advance in the direction of Oleksandrivka – Tavriyske, he did not succeed, he withdrew. There is partial success in the Vasylka-Blagodatne direction, – the General Staff reported.
