In his annual speech to Congress, US President Joe Biden called Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine “a test for the whole world” and promised to continue supporting the Ukrainian people.

Biden called the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine “a murderous attack that brings to mind the images of death and destruction that Europe suffered during World War II.”
He noted that the full-scale invasion of Ukraine became “a test for America, for the whole world.”
– Will we defend the basic principles? Will we defend sovereignty, the right of people to live free from tyranny? Will we stand up for the protection of democracy? One year later, we know the answer: yes, we will. We did it! – emphasized the US president.
According to Biden, the USA united NATO and built a global coalition.
– We are united in supporting Ukraine. And we will be with you as long as necessary, – he emphasized.
