The Russian Federation is currently unable to produce the A-50 radar aircraft.
Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, said this on the air of the telethon.
According to him, there were only about ten different modifications of such planes. Yusov noted that the difference is not how many there are, but the ability to produce them.
-As of today, the degraded industry of the Russian Federation is not capable of producing new similar aircraft with similar tasks, – said the intelligence representative.
He added that foreign suppliers are reacting to the threat of secondary sanctions, and cooperation with Putin’s Russia is becoming toxic, undesirable and dangerous.
On February 26, explosions rang out at the Machulyshchi airfield in Belarus, not far from Minsk.
Belarusian Gayun, citing sources, reported that two drones attacked the Russian A-50 aircraft. In addition, it is claimed that security forces managed to find a bag with control panels from drones.
