In the Ternopil region, five buildings were damaged by rocket debris, but there were no casualties – Regional Military Administration
During the mass attack on the night of March 9, the fall of rocket fragments was recorded on the territory of the Pidgayets community of the Ternopil district.
As a result of the explosion, five buildings were damaged, one of which was residential, but, fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries, said Volodymyr Trush, head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration.
– According to the results of the inspection of the wreckage by explosives experts, no dangerous parts were found, but the scene may be affected by the remains of rocket fuel. Operative-investigative groups of the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Department of the National Emergency Service in the region, as well as specialists from the Department of State Emergency Services, are working at the scene of the incident in order to establish the marking of the missile and collect material evidence, – he clarified.
On the night and morning of March 9, the Russian Federation fired 81 missiles of various bases and eight Shahed-136/131 attack drones over Ukraine.
The air defense forces of Ukraine destroyed 34 cruise missiles out of 48 Kh-101/Kh-555, Kalibr cruise missiles, as well as four Iranian drones.
