As of the morning of April 16, emergency and rescue operations are ongoing at the site of a 5-story building destroyed by shelling in Sloviansk, Donetsk region.

Updated at 1:00 p.m. The body of a dead man was removed from the site of emergency rescue operations. So the number of people killed as a result of the Russian attack increased to 12, and another 22 people were injured.
Three more people may be under the rubble.
Earlier, the National Police reported that four more people may be under the rubble.
– So far, 107 tons of destroyed building structures have been disassembled, work is ongoing. Two people were saved, the bodies of six were lifted from the rubble of the destroyed five-story building, – the report says.
A total of 43 people and 9 units of special equipment were involved in the work.
On April 14, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Sloviansk . The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the enemy fired at least seven rockets at Sloviansk.
