Russian troops are changing the tactics of missile attacks on Ukraine. They are currently accumulating resources to prevent a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, told this on the air of the telethon of the United News.
He noted that compared to the winter period, there is a change in the tactics of missile terror, as the first stage failed – the energy missile blitzkrieg failed.
– Yes, today the tactics are changing, and this conditional break is being used for accumulation. Only the tasks will be different – these are largely not energy infrastructure facilities, but, for example, everything related to logistics, preparation of military targets in the context of attempts to disrupt Ukrainian offensive actions,” Yusov said.
The intelligence representative added that the occupiers had made similar attempts before, at the first stage of the full-scale invasion.
– “If we are talking about the winter period, military targets were declared, but the targets were civilian objects, civilian and energy infrastructure. Today, the tactics will be different,” he emphasized.
At the same time, he said, Russia will not be able to restore the missile potential in terms of quantity and quality that has already been spent during the full-scale invasion, even if it pauses until September, and “it will not pause until September.”
Also, a representative of the Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, said that the most combat-ready part of the Russian army has already been destroyed.
