He was reconnoitering HIMARS positions and AFU warehouses inKyiv region: SBU detains lawyer

The SBU detained a traitor lawyer who collected data on possible HIMARS combat positions and maps of minefields near Kyiv for Russian special services.
The offender used to work for the prosecutor’s office, but failed the re-certification and was fired in 2021. The man started practicing law. Later, he was recruited by the Russian secret service.
The suspect, on the instructions of the enemy, tried to obtain maps of minefields created by the Defense Forces on the outskirts of Kyiv and in Chernihiv region, as well as in the frontline areas of eastern Ukraine.
The traitor also reconnoitered possible combat positions of HIMARS artillery systems and locations of depots with ammunition and fuel and lubricants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian agent was looking for informants to help him.
SBU officers managed to timely expose the Russian agent and document his crimes when he was transferring the imitation coordinates of the HIMARS base.
The lawyer was also engaged in illegal transportation of Ukrainian citizens of military age abroad.
Based on the evidence collected, SBU investigators served the man a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
