The best place to celebrate Europe Day – Ursula von der Leyen came to Kyiv

On the morning of May 9, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in Kyiv.

The head of the EC published the photo on Twitter after arriving in the capital.

– It is nice to return to Kyiv. Where the values we cherish are protected every day. So this is the best place to celebrate Europe Day. I welcome the decision of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to hold Europe Day on May 9 here in Ukraine as well, – Ursula von der Leyen noted.
