The administration of US President Joe Biden is working with Ukraine to promote and implement the Peace Formula presented by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator of the US National Security Council, announced this at a briefing.
– We are focused on working with our Ukrainian colleagues to implement their 10-point proposal for establishing a just peace. And we will see what result it will bring, – he said.
According to him, the US wants peace proposals, regardless of who put them forward, to be able to ensure lasting peace.
At the same time, Kirby noted that such a plan should have the support of the President of Ukraine.
The US National Security Council’s strategic communications coordinator also added that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has not shown a “real desire” to end the war against Ukraine by establishing a just peace.
In November 2022, in his speech to world leaders, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy named ten conditions necessary to end the war . In particular, Russia must confirm the territorial integrity of Ukraine, withdraw its troops from the territory of Ukraine and pay compensation for the damage caused.
