During the last day, Ukrainian defenders advanced 200 m to 500 m in different sections of the Bakhmut direction, and 300 m to 350 m in the Zaporizhzhіa direction.
Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malіar told how the offensive operation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine is going.
According to her, the Ukrainian troops are moving in the conditions of extremely brutal battles, aviation and artillery superiority of the enemy.
– In the Berdyansk direction, fighting continues near the village of Makarivka. In the Mariupol direction – in the districts of Novodanilivka and Novopokrovsk, – she clarified.
Malіar also reported heavy losses of the enemy in both manpower and equipment.
In particular, during the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an artillery battery of self-propelled guns, two complexes of radio-electronic warfare, about 10 units of automotive equipment, a radar complex for reconnaissance and fire control, as well as an anti-aircraft missile complex.
