Ukrainian forces probably struck the 20th division of the combined army of the Russian Federation, which was stationed near Kreminna, Luhansk region. The occupiers suffered significant losses.

One of the Russian bloggers suggested that about 100 Russian servicemen were killed and another 100 wounded as a result of the HIMARS strike.
