Serhiy Cherevaty, Deputy Commander of the Eastern Group of Forces for Strategic Communications, stated this on the air of the telethon.
– We are moving towards occupying the dominant heights and pushing the enemy out of his borders. The enemy is putting up incredible resistance – 538 times per day, the enemy hit our positions with various types of artillery, carried out two air raids. In total, five skirmishes took place in this direction, in which 71 occupiers were killed, 141 were injured, and one was captured, – he clarified.
According to him, the Ukrainian defenders also knocked out four enemy tanks, an amphibious assault vehicle, two Grad anti-aircraft guns, three guns, two Hyacinth-S self-propelled guns, two anti-tank missile systems, one Strela-10 air defense system, a Murom-M surveillance complex and five drones .
Cherevaty also confirmed that the Russian Federation had indeed transferred the Kadyrivians to the Klishchiivka district of the Donetsk region, however, having suffered losses, they retreated.
