Zaluzhnyi discusses counter-offensive and needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with colleagues from the US and UK

Ukrainian generals discussed military cooperation with their American and British partners.
This was announced on Telegram by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.
He told the allies about the situation at the front, the course of offensive and defensive operations, and shared the Armed Forces’ plans for the near future and in the longer term.
The parties discussed possible actions of the enemy, and focused on the needs of military units.
Zaluzhnyi stressed that ammunition, weapons, air defence equipment, electronic warfare, and remote demining devices are what the Ukrainian army needs.
– Another extremely important issue is drones. Countering enemy drones and building up our own capabilities. We agreed with our partners to focus on this area. We also discussed the possibilities of strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure facilities from enemy air attacks,” Zaluzhnyi said.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to the American and British partners for their support and assistance in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
The meeting was attended by Chief of the General Staff Serhiy Shaptala, Deputy Commander-in-Chief Mykhailo Zabrodskyi, Navy Commander Oleksiy Neizhpapa, First Deputy Minister of Defence Oleksandr Pavliuk and Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov.
The Ukrainian generals held talks with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe and Commander of U.S. Forces Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, the Chief of Defence Staff of the United Kingdom, Admiral Tony Radakin, and representatives of partner delegations.
