Russian occupation forces attacked a warehouse with energy equipment in Dnipropetrovs’k region.
This was reported by DTEK.
– “The enemy has attacked DTEK’s warehouses in the Dnipro region… No matter how hard the enemy tries, they will not be able to disrupt our preparations for the heating season,” the company said.
The occupants’ attack on the warehouse damaged cables, transformers, disconnectors and other equipment.
Experts are currently assessing the damage and planning how to cover the need for the destroyed materials.
Earlier, the Dnipropetrovs’k Regional Military Administration reported that on the night of October 2, the enemy attacked the region with attack drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down three drones over the region.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, last night the occupiers launched seven Shahed attack drones at Ukraine from the southeast (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia). The Air Force destroyed four Shahed-131/136.
The threat of new Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure remains. As noted by Ukrenergo, the trunk grid is almost ready for winter, but massive shelling could change the situation. Therefore, the power company is considering even the worst-case scenarios.
