Russia uses the attacks of the terrorist group Hamas on Israel to implement separate informational and psychological operations against Ukraine, moreover, new confirmations of the Kremlin’s cooperation with Palestinian militants are emerging.
Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this on air.
– Russia uses terrorist attacks on Israel, on the one hand, in order to implement separate information and psychological operations against Ukraine at the international level, in order to use these events against Kyiv, to weaken international support – this is a fact, – the intelligence officer emphasized.
Yusov also noted that confirmation of Russia’s interaction and cooperation with the Hamas movement is increasingly appearing.
– And the transfer of Western-made trophy weapons to Hamas took place before the terrorist attacks on Israel. At the same time, the Russian Federation does not hide its joy from the events in Israel through its propagandists or official spokesmen. They are literally rejoicing, they are having a festival, hoping that attention will not be focused on Ukraine and the genocide of Russians against Ukrainians, – Yusov added.
The representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence noted that the Kremlin miscalculated here, because everything indicates that Ukraine remains in the focus of attention, and all support continues to be provided.
The day before, Joe Biden assured that the USA has enough resources to help Ukraine and Israel at the same time in the struggle for independence, stressing that the Americans are the most powerful nation in history, which will be able to support common international defense.
