”Lawn mowers” are not some know-how: Ignat drew attention to other Russian drones
Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, believes that the attention of the media to drones of an unknown type, which the enemy assembles from parts purchased on AliExpress, is exaggerated. Instead, he focused on other enemy UAVs.
– Some kind of drone arrived, molded from primitive materials and components that can really be purchased on the Internet. To talk about the fact that this is some kind of know-how and attach great importance to it – why… They have enough drones that can perform reconnaissance functions – the same Orlans, ZALA and Shaheda, – he stated on the air of the telethon.
According to him, the main thing today is FPV drones, which are appearing at the occupiers by the thousands.
– They even demonstrate it in their public places, calling on citizens to join in fundraising, as we do. The enemy learns from us, in particular. The number of drones will increase in a hostile state, so we have to think about our drones, as well as the means of countering these UAVs, – Ignat noted.
By the way, Ukraine launched a training program for 100 female aerial scouts. Military personnel are trained to operate FPV drones on the basis of one of the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The course lasts 33 days. The program includes theory, practical flights, as well as “the entire ecosystem related to flight”.
