The enemy has been rejected, but the situation is not easy: Demchenko about the Ukrainian flag in Topoli
The situation in the village of Topoli, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, where Ukrainian border guards recently raised a blue and yellow flag, remains difficult.
State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andriy Demchenko told the Yedynyi Novyny telethon that the Ukrainian Armed Forces “are not there permanently.
– The enemy has been driven back in this area, but the situation remains difficult. The settlement is located both near the border with Russia and in the direction of the combat line. It is quite difficult for Ukrainian defenders to stay there permanently. Our guys are constantly monitoring this area to prevent the enemy from gaining a foothold there,” said Demchenko.
The spokesperson noted that the Ukrainian flag was installed to remind us “that this is our land and Russian terrorists have no business there.”
