Ukraine has learned the language of force well, because it is the only language that the aggressor country, Russia, understands. In the last six weeks alone, Russian troops have lost almost 36 thousand occupants.
This was stated by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov at the opening of the 17th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense (Ramstein 17). It is held online.
He noted that the Ukrainian army resorts to asymmetric actions to defeat the aggressor.
For example, the Ukrainian Defense Forces pushed Russian warships out of the Black Sea, even without having its own powerful navy. As a result, freedom of navigation is gradually being restored.
Umerov also cited data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on enemy losses.
According to the minister, “since the last meeting in the Ramstein format six weeks ago, Russia has lost almost 36,000 soldiers.” The previous meeting in the Ramstein format took place on October 11.
– Russia is definitely not planning to stop on its own. The only language Moscow can understand is force. And we have learned this language well,” Umerov emphasized.
The minister added that the situation at the front was changed by weapons provided by the allies. These include M142 HIMARS rocket artillery systems, Stormshadow, SCALP, ATACMS missiles, Abrams, Challenger, and Leopard tanks.
Umerov explained that in order to protect lives, it is necessary to further develop “coalitions of capabilities” within the Ramstein format. We are talking about coalitions related to artillery, armored vehicles, aviation, navy, IT and demining.
– Our people are waiting for the opportunity to return home. To rebuild their homes. To reunite with their families,” the minister said.
