The Armed Forces confirmed the liquidation of the occupiers who shot Ukrainian soldiers
The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the Russian occupiers who shot Ukrainian soldiers in Donetsk region were eliminated. A criminal case has been opened against the Russians for this crime.
Oleksandr Shtupun, the spokesman of the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria Region, stated this on the air of the telethon.
— Yes, this fact has been recorded by the relevant services. A criminal case has been opened, the appropriate investigation is ongoing, and then these materials will be handed over to international institutions dealing with war crimes. And I can also confirm that in the course of further hostilities, the group of Russian occupiers that committed this crime ceased to exist, – Shtupun said.
When asked what is known about these occupiers, he said that at the moment there is no information in which unit of the Russian army they were, as hostilities continue.
At the same time, the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence Andriy Yusov said on Radio Svoboda that at the moment he cannot confirm the words of the head of the Avdiiv City Military Administration Vitaliy Barabash about the liquidation of these occupiers.
— We cannot now claim that those have been liquidated. This point needs to be further verified, – he said.
What is known about the execution of Ukrainian soldiers
On December 2, a video of the execution of unarmed servicemen who surrendered to the Russians was released.
In the footage released by the Deepstate project, the Russian invaders entered the positions of the 45th separate rifle battalion, and during the sweep they came across a dugout in which Ukrainian defenders were sitting.
It was claimed that the footage was filmed from a drone in the Avdiiv direction.
