Kinzhals fall short: Britain’s intelligence on Putin’s “superweapon”.

Aeroballistic Kinzhal missiles, which Russian dictator Vladimir Putin declared in 2018 to be his “superweapon” and an important component of military doctrine, rarely achieve their goals in the war against Ukraine, in particular because anti-aircraft missiles successfully shoot them down.
This is reported by the intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain.
They noted that on December 14, for the first time since August 2023, Russia used the Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missile, firing it over Central Ukraine, probably with the aim of hitting a military airfield.
According to British intelligence, Russia uses these missiles to strike targets it considers particularly valuable and well-protected.
– However, Kinzhals had an ambiguous combat debut. Many launches probably did not reach their intended goals, while Ukraine also managed to intercept the attacks of this supposedly “invincible” system, – the British Ministry of Defense notes.
Kinzhal attack on Kyiv and Starokostyantуnov
On December 14, the Russian Federation launched three Kinzhals from the airspace of the Tula region in the direction of Kyiv and Starokostyantynov , Khmelnytskyi region.
One Kinzhal was destroyed by an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kyiv region.
There were attacks in the Starokostyantynov area, but the Air Force did not comment on the consequences.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 664th day.
