Enemies are unsuccessfully looking for ways to break through air defenses. The Russian Federation is experimenting with strikes on Ukraine – ISW

Russian forces are likely to continue to experiment and adapt their missile and drone strikes against Ukraine in an effort to overcome Ukrainian air defenses.
This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The Russian military blogger noted that the Russian military has recently been attacking Ukraine, using various types of missiles, including Kh-47 Kinzhal hypersonic ballistic missiles. The blogger also claims that Russian forces are launching unspecified aerial decoys and Shahed drones to bypass Ukrainian air defense systems so that Russian forces can launch successful missile strikes.
– ISW observed how Russian forces experimented with various combinations of drone strikes and missile strikes, trying to penetrate Ukrainian air defense systems, as the Ukrainian military adapted to Russian strike patterns, – the material says.
Previously, ISW has already assessed that Russia may intensify its efforts to supply ballistic missiles from abroad, because under certain circumstances ballistic missiles may be more successful in hitting targets in Ukraine.
Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Colonel Yuriy Ignat said on January 14 that sanctions are likely to reduce the quality of Russian missiles.
– This may further complicate Russia’s ability to carry out successful series of strikes on Ukraine, – analysts add.
Earlier, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that Ukraine is adapting to Russian strikes, significantly improving the capabilities of electronic warfare.
