In 7 months, drone strike companies hit more than 15,000 enemy targets – Fedorov

For the first time in world practice, drone strike companies were formed in Ukraine. Currently, there are 67 strike companies in the Armed Forces.
This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.
– The drone strike companies and the units we provide with drones hit millions of dollars worth of enemy equipment every week. Units send video confirmation of each damage. In 7 months, the strike companies hit more than 15,000 enemy targets,- he said.
According to the minister, within the framework of the Drone Army project, an analysis of the effectiveness of the use of drones at the front is being conducted. For example, why some companies use drones less effectively in special operations, what is the difference in training. This helps shape new rules in the use and distribution of drones.
Fedorov also noted that the decision to create the Unmanned Systems Forces is an opportunity to technologically strengthen and innovatively develop the Armed Forces thanks to the new doctrine of technological warfare.
Earlier, the Minister of Defense of Canada, Bill Blair, announced the transfer to Kyiv of more than 800 multifunctional SkyRanger R70 drones worth more than $95 million.
