Occupants intend to provoke at ZNPP: General Staff discloses details
Russia is preparing for another provocation at Zaporizhzhya NPP, which it wants to carry out under a false flag.

Provocation at ZNPP
The General Staff points out that, according to available intelligence, Russian terrorists are preparing to conduct another provocation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant – another false flag operation.
– Russia is the only terrorist in the world that holds a nuclear power plant hostage and uses it to blackmail Ukraine and the entire world. No one else, except for Russian terrorists, has brought the world so close to the brink of a deliberate radiation disaster,” the statement said.
It is noted that in recent weeks alone, Russia has repeatedly tried to shift responsibility for the use of drones to attack ZNPP facilities onto Ukraine.
– “These are deliberate Russian actions that continue the Russian practice of blackmailing our state and the entire international community with the risk of a disaster at the ZNPP,” the General Staff said.
The military stressed that Ukraine has always been responsible for the safety of nuclear facilities.
– “Only the return of ZNPP to Ukrainian control can restore the real safety of the plant,” the statement said.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine points out that as long as the occupiers are at ZNPP, keep their military equipment there and have the ability to conduct their operations, “the safety of the plant cannot be guaranteed.”
The situation at ZNPP
As a reminder, the day before, on 13 April, the reactor unit of ZNPP Unit 4, which is under the control of the occupiers, was put into a cold shutdown. Thus, all six units of Zaporizhzhia NPP are in a cold shutdown state.
Before that, on 7 April, Russian troops provoked a drone explosion on the territory of the nuclear power plant. The explosion was also reported by representatives of the UN nuclear watchdog (IAEA), who are at ZNPP.
Later, it became known that at least three direct hits to the main structures of the reactor containment vessel occurred at the plant.
Later, the United States indicated that it was aware of the explosions at ZNPP, and therefore called on Russia to stop “playing a very dangerous game with the seizure of the Ukrainian nuclear power plant”.
Ukrainian intelligence reported intentions to commit a provocation at the nuclear power plant back in July 2023, but the occupiers were deterred by publicising the dangers created by their actions.
