Russia will hunt for F-16s: Yevlash explains whether the enemy will be able to disrupt the transfer of aircraft
Russia will try to disrupt the delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, but it is unlikely to succeed.
This was stated by Ilya Yevlash, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, on the air of the United News telethon.

– All the necessary measures are already being taken to ensure the operation of F-16 fighters and their deployment in Ukraine. Of course, the enemy will hunt for F-16s. There is no question that he will be able to disrupt something very much,” he said.
According to him, the occupants are still actively trying to attack our airfields, but Ukrainian aviation continues to perform tasks, and quite successfully, and all measures will be taken to protect the aircraft.
At what stage is pilot training
This is a continuous process that includes three stages – ground training, training on light aircraft and training on the F-16 itself – and, as Yevlash said, the training of engineers and mechanics is also underway in parallel.
– We expect the final stages of our pilots’ training to be completed,” added the spokesman.
At the same time, he stressed that the arrival of the fighter jets should not be expected to have a quick effect, as the pilots still have to get used to the airspace of Ukraine.
– “We also understand that F-16s will be delivered gradually, and we need a lot of these aircraft to effectively perform tasks of varying complexity,” he concluded.
