Russia will try not just to limit as much as possible, but to completely stop the supply of gas to Europe at the most critical moment. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
– This is what we need to prepare for now. Every concession in such conditions is perceived by the Russian leadership as an incentive for further and stronger pressure. Of course, this one-turbine solution, which entails many problems, can still be reconsidered. Russia has never played by the rules in the energy sector and will not play now if it does not see strength, Zelensky believes.
The head of state noted that the demolition of rubble in Chasovoy Yar is ongoing. As a result of the Russian missile strike, 31 people died, but nine people were rescued.
According to Zelensky, brutal fighting continues in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, where Ukrainian defenders are putting up a decent fight against the Russian invaders.
The President announced a draft law on guarantees for Poles – legal stay in Ukraine for 18 months, the right to employment, economic activity, university education and medical care.
In addition, Zelensky signed a decree granting the city of Przemysl (Poland) the honorary title of City-Saviour. Previously, the city of Rzeszow received this title.
Today, 287 Ukrainian defenders were honored with state awards. The relevant decree was signed by the President of Ukraine.
