Ukrzaliznytsia explained that Artem and Volodymyr met war victims at the station around the clock and sent them to the safety, organized accommodation of passengers at the station, provided food, water and basic necessities, often at their own expense, met and unloaded trains filled with humanitarian aid for residents of the East.

Passengers with babies even stayed for a night, waiting for the next train, at the home of the stationmaster, when the station premises were crowded with refugees, – was noted by UZ.

Now Volodymyr and Artem continue to work, despite the fact that maintaining the station’s efficiency in today’s situation is becoming increasingly dangerous.

We thank our railway workers for their endurance, character and confidence in our victory, – the department noted.
