The Ukrainian Water Polo Federation has sent official letters to the international organizations LEN and World Aquatics, as well as the Greek National Olympic Committee, demanding that they not allow cooperation with Russian and Belarusian athletes.

The letters were signed by the President of the Federation, Oleksandr Svishchov.

– The other day, it was reported that the Russian women’s water polo team is at a training camp in Greece, where they are preparing for the 2023 season. We are convinced that Russian and Belarusian athletes have no place in the international sports arena. This applies not only to competitions, but also to any cooperation, including training camps,” the statement said.
