The Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Kamyshin spoke on the telethon about the consequences of Russian missile strikes on Ukraine’s railway infrastructure today, April 25.

– We hoped until the last minute that one of the missing railway workers would be alive, but, unfortunately, he was found under the rubble of one of the stations – he died. There are also four wounded of varying severity, – he said.

Kamyshin noted that the victim was found at Kozyatyn station.

According to him, this is one of the most severe strikes during the war, namely a systemic strike at five stations.

– All these missile strikes were made in one hour. And, unfortunately, the enemy continues to systematically beat the railway infrastructure. The complete elimination of all infrastructure losses we have suffered will take months, – added the Chairman of the Board of UZ.

Kamyshin noted that for the Russian military, the railway infrastructure will remain “the object of a targeted attack.”
