One killed and six wounded: the army of the Russian Federation fired at Chornobayevka on the Kherson region

In the Kherson region, the Russian army once again attacked local residents of Chornobayivka. As a result of the enemy shelling, one person was killed and six were injured. Information on the destruction of local infrastructure is being clarified.
According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, on May 27, the occupying forces launched a rocket attack on the territory of the Chornobayiv village community. A 33-year-old man died as a result of an enemy shell hitting a private house under the rubble of his parents’ house. Six people were injured.
Aggressive actions pose a direct threat to the lives and health of civilians, contrary to international humanitarian law, which explicitly prohibits attacks on civilians and infrastructure, the prosecutor’s office said.
The Prosecutor’s Office opened criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (under Part 2 of Article 438 of the current Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The maximum penalty for this crime is imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment. The pre-trial investigation in the specified criminal proceedings proceeds. Law enforcement officers continue to document the war crimes of the Russian army.
