Russia may launch new missile strikes on the railway in Chernihiv region – Chaus
In the Chernihiv region today, the Russian army may launch new missile strikes on railway facilities. Locals are urged to be in shelters or bomb shelters in case of an air alarm.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Chaus stressed that all relevant services and community leaders have been warned.
– WARNING! There is information that today the enemy can launch missile strikes on railway facilities in the Chernihiv region. I appeal to citizens: do not ignore air raids. In case of a warning about the threat to the application on the phone or the siren signal, follow the shelter, – said Chaus.
Currently, the Chernihiv region is one of the most contaminated with explosives, so pyrotechnics are working to eliminate threats. It may take years for sappers to complete the process, Chaus said.
Pyrotechnic units have already made more than 2,000 trips and neutralized more than 28,000 explosive devices.
Specialists will continue to survey areas, mark, create maps and diagrams of hazardous areas, inform about explosives and how to deal with them.
